As the name suggests, this Aponogeton comes from the island of Madagascar. Often called the Lace Plant because of its lace-like leaves. Has a bulb of around 3cm in diameter and the leaves reach a length of 55cm. Regarded as a difficult plant as it needs plenty of good light, a proper water circulation within the aquarium and a good filtration.
